Very Good Light Fixture
I have a small DIY shop in my basement that I am putting together (25x20 w/9 1/2' ceiling). It is a new construction home with six builder grade 60-watt equivalent single LED bulbs. As soon as we moved in, I replaced all six builder fixtures with Prime Lights Bolt 3 lamp fixtures; they are great. However, I needed a bit more light for detail work. I added two of the Stingray Air 6 Lamp fixtures in between two Bolt fixtures and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is very bright, almost too bright. However, it removed all of the shadows I had that made it difficult to see accurately when I was applying finishes.
The only complaint I had was the connector attached to the fixture wires. I installed these lights in sequence with the bolt lights but the wire connector only allowed for a two wire install (supply and fixture). In other words, the supply wire had to dead end at the light; I could not continue wire to another fixture without modification. All of the Bolt 3 bulb lights I received had a three wire connector so I had the option to continue wire to another light. These lights are a solid five plus rating. I would only suggest Prime Lights use the three wire connector to simplify installation of multiple lights; it made the Bolt light install for me flawless without modification.
I am also getting ready to purchase six more fixtures to replace the builder fixtures in my three car garage. I will be staying with the Stingray Air 6 bulb lights for that…
