LED StingRay 4 XL MOTION ACTIVATED Shop Light (Frosted Diffuser)

I purchased 3 StingRay 4XL lights for my 3 car garage. I had some questions before the purchase which I e-mailed to Prime Lights. Steve reached out the next day, answered all my questions, and facilitated my purchase. The lights were delivered in 2 days, were well packed, and are very sturdy.

The installation is best done with 2 people to hold the lights while installing and wiring. The panel on the lights where the house wiring enters the light was raised about 1/4 inch and I had to flatten it to make the light fit flush to the ceiling. I also added a rubber grommet to prevent chafing where the wiring came through the fixture.

The LED lights are much brighter and illuminate the whole garage more evenly than before! The motion detectors work great, turning the lights on whenever you enter the garage from the house or outside. You can program the ambient light level threshold to trigger the lights and the length of time the lights stay on without motion (10 sec, 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30 mins). The installation & use pamphlets could have been better written.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and the customer service I received and I would, and already have, recommended Prime Lights to my friends.

Well built lights. Should last a long time. USA made quality is hard to find.

I put 7 - 6 bulb stingray and 2 -4 bulb stingray in a 30x40x12 shop. The general lighting is good. They recommended only 6- 6 bulb stingray. Im glad I added more. Did the install alone. The lights are easy to install. What I didn't like is the top wiring plate that sticks up from the light frame and hinders a flush mount. I had to modify for flush mount. Also the factory holes didn't match for 16 inch center mount. Had to drill new ones. The lights also scratch easy when flipping the reflector up. All and all a good light for the money and the customer service is good.
